Known for her collaborations with big names like Marvel, Fendi, and Tones and I, CHAII has positioned herself at the intersection of music, fashion, and art. A multi-disciplinary artist who’s always pushing creative boundaries, her latest album Safar, is a full-throttle dive into her life, layered with the cultural textures and personal discoveries that shape her sound.
Ever since I was in high school, I’ve always wanted to show my culture through my music, and I’ve experimented a lot with different sounds. In this album I wanted to show what that journey has looked like. CHAII
It’s important to cheer yourself on and tell yourself you’re doing good, especially in an industry like the music industry, where music is subjective and the building of your music is in your hands and how far you want to take it. When you’re in front of an audience, you’re finally sharing your music with everyone in person. I love that feeling! CHAII
